Kerala Science Corner is an independent body formed by the government for the development of science and technology. Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) is an autonomous body constituted by the Government Of Kerala to encourage and promote science and technology-related activities in Kerala. KSCSTE is running seven R&D centres in different parts of Kerala. R&D centres under KSCSTE are Centre for Earth Science Studies (CESS), Centre for Water Resources Development and Management (CWRDM), National Transportation Planning and Research Centre (NATPAC), Rajiv Gandhi Center for Biotechnology (RGCB), Tropical Botanic Garden and Research Institute (TBGRI), Kerala School of Mathematics (KSoM). Some of the autonomous bodies of the Government Of Kerala are Agency for Development of Aquaculture, Kerala (ADAK), Agency for Non – Conventional Energy and Rural Technology (ANERT), Energy Management Centre (EMC), Kerala Aviation Training Centre, Kerala State Pharmacy Council, Kerala State Veterinary Council, National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH), Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Kerala Science Congress is held each year.
