Devikulam (Hill Station) Situated 16kms south-west of Munnar, is a small hill station Devikulam,  which means 'Pond of the Goddess', as it is believed that goddess Sita once, had a bath in the pond near by and hence this place was named after it. This place has a lot of natural beauty and many tourists come here to enjoy its serenity.

Anayirankal (tea plantation)
This is an ideal picnic spot with its bush green carpet of tea plantation. A trip on the splendid reservoir is an unforgettable experience. The Tata Tea plantation and evergreen forests surround the Anayirankal Dam.

Chithirapuram (Tea Plantation)
With its sleepy little cottages, bungalows, old play grounds and courts; Chithirapuram still exudes an old world charm. Home of the Pallyvasal Hydel Power Project, this hill town is also very famous for its picturesque tea plantations.

Munnar Tea plantations
This is a beautiful hill station covered with unending expanse of tea plantations and is 133Kms from Cochin, with an altitude ranging from 1600 to 1800 meters above sea level. Munnar boasts the highest peak in south India 'Anamundi' 2695 meters high. Munnar was the favourite summer resort of European settlers for centuries. The name 'Munnar' means 'Three Rivers' and they are actually three mountain stream, Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala, confluence at the heart of the town, meeting all the water requirements of the settlers and visitors.

Echo Point 
This scenic place gets its name from the natural echo phenomenon here. Echo point is n the way to Top Station from Munnar

Kudayathoor Mala 
A picturesque hillock 6 km. from Malankara Dam site, is ideal for trekking, Elaveehja Poonchira 6 Kms upstream is another beautiful picnic spot.

Lock Heart Gap 
This is an ideal place for adventure tourism and trekking. The fresh mountain air, the mist clad hills and panoramic view make it worth of a visit.

Attukal 
This place is located between Munnar and Pallivasal, and a beautiful sight of waterfalls and rolling hills can be seen here. Attukal is also ideal for long treks

Cheeyappara
The Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls are located between Narimangalam and Adimali on the kochi-Madurai highway. The Cheeyapara waterfalls cascade down in seven steps. It is a real feast for the eyes.

Nyayamkad 
10 Kms from Munnar, located between Munnar and Rajamala Nyamkad is a land of breathtaking waterfalls. The Waters cascade down a hill from a height of about 1600 meters, the enchanting surrounding make an excellent picnic spot and trekking point. 

Peerumadu Tea Plantation
On the way to Thekkady, Peermade is a small hill station. It is a fertile land at an altitude of 914 meters. Formerly the summer palaces of Travancore Rajas this tiny and cool hill station is full of rubber, tea, coffee, pepper and cardamom plantation, interspersed with waterfalls and open grasslands.

Power House Waterfall
18 Km from Munnar, this waterfall is on the way to Thekkady from Munnar, which cascades down to step rock 2000m above sea level. The spot is enriched which the scenic western mountain range and is an ideal place for a break on the way to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.

Thommankuthu
28 km from Thodupuzha is Thommankutthu, which is famous for its numerous waterfalls. This place is ideal for natural lovers as the seven-step waterfall here is a much loved picnic spot. At each step, there is a cascade and a pool beneath to enjoy the panoramic beauty; the best way is to undertake a trek that takes one to the top of the mountain, a 12 km. climb.

Chellarkovil (Beautiful Village)
15 kms from Kumily, this little village with its breathtaking view of plains is famous for its landscape scenery and natural beauty. The village slopes down to the famous coconut groves of Cumbum in neighboring state Tamil Nadu.

Kundala (Picturesque Town)
Kundala is a beautiful town on the way to Top station. The Gold course, which belongs to Tata Tea Ltd., is located here. The Kundala artificial dam is another attraction. Arurikad waterfall is also near Kundala.

Marayoor (Sandalwood Plantation) 
This is the only place in Kerala that has a natural growth of sandalwood trees. The sandalwood factory of the forest department, the caves (Muniyars) with murals and relics from the new Stone Age civilization and the children's' park spread across a hectare of land under the canopy of a single banyan tree are of great interest to tourists. Thoovanam waterfall and Rajiv Gandhi National Park are also near by.

Mattupetty (Indo-Swiss Livestock Project) 
13 Kms from Munnar situated at height of 1700m, Mattupetty is known for us highly specialized dairy farm- 'the Indo-Swiss Livestock Project' where the green meadows, over 100 varieties of high yielding cattle and the rose garden attract a lot of tourists. 

Meenuli (Forest Over Rock)
Meenuli is noted for 2 acres of evergreen forests, upon a huge rock. The rock is more than 500 acres in area and an ideal spot for mountaineering. One can see the lower Periyar Area, Boothanthankettu, and even up to Ernakulam on a fine day, from this rocky height.

Murrikkady (Plantation area)
5 kms from Thekkady, washed in fresh spice scented air is Murrikkady, a panorama of cardamom, coffee and Pepper plantation.

Pandikuzhi (Picnic spot) 
25 kms from Kumaly, Pandikuzhi is a picturesque spectrum of exotic flora, fauna and gurgling streams, cradled between Chellakovil and the Tamil Nadu border. This is a popular picnic spot, which offers great opportunities for trekking and is photographer's delight.

Rajamala (Natural Habitat)
15 Kms from Munnar, this is a natural habitat of the Nilgiri Thar, mountain goat. The world population of rare Mountain goat, which is fast becoming extinct, is now found here. The Nilgiri Thar's are today reduced to small herds found in Eravikulam-Rajamala region. The total number of Nilgiri Thar in this natural habitat is estimated to be 1317.

Vandanmedu (Cardamom Plantation)
25Kms from Kumaly this is one of the world's largest auction centers for cardamom. A walk through the sprawling cardamom plantations of Vandanmedu is a heady experience.

Vandiperiyar (Agricultural Town) 
The river Periyar flowing through the center of this town nourishes its vast tea, coffee and pepper plantations. Vandiperiyar, a major trade centre is also the home of a number of tea factories. The government agricultural farm and flower garden have a delightful array of rose plants orchids and anthuriums.

Chinnar (Wild life sanctuary)
Situated on the Tamil Nadu - Kerala border, the wild life Sanctuary is spread across 90.44 sq kms.  A thorny shrub jungle present no where else but here, makes this sanctuary unique with a wide range of animals and birds like elephants, porcupine, lion tailed monkeys, jungle fowl, spotted dove, laughing thrush etc. The sanctuary is situated on either side of the Marayoor-Udumalpet road and is hence easily accessible by road.

Eravikulam - Rajamalai (Wild Life Sanctuary)
The 97 sq km wild life sanctuary is also known as a National Park, since it has the largest population of Nilgiri Thar existing in the world. A wide variety of plant life is present here. The popularity known Neelakurinji is one of the rare species that grows here. Anamudi peak, which is 2695 m high, is located in the southern region of this peak. There are different species of animals and birds like barking Deer, Gour, Giant Malabar Squirrel, Tiger, Panther, Wolf, Black Bird, Jungle crow etc.

Idukki Wildlife Sanctuary
This sanctuary extends on the Thodupuzha and Udumpanchola Taluk's of Idukki district, spreading over 77 sq kms and is about 450- 478 m above sea level. There is a scenic lake around the sanctuary and the wildlife found here are similar to those in other wildlife sanctuaries nearby.

Ramakalmedu 
The rolling green hills and fresh mountain air make Ramakalmedu and enchanting retreat. The hilltop also offers a panoramic view of the picturesque villages of Bodi and Kambam, on the eastern slope of the western. Ramakalmedu is situated 16kms from Nedumkandam.

Cheruthoni Dam
Near Painaru, the headquarters of Idukki district situated 3917 feet above sea level is the Cheruthoni dam. One can reach here only by jeep and on a clear day certain parts of faraway Cochin can be seen from here. The Kerala State Electricity Board, which maintains the dam, rents out boats for the two-hour cruise between Cheruthoni and Kulamavu.

Idukki Arch Dam
This is the world's second and Asia's first Arch dam, Constructed across the Kuravan and Kurathi hills. It is 640 feet in breadth and 550 feet in height and this lies close to the Cheruthoni barrage. To its west is the Kulamavu Dam and located closely is the Idukki wildlife sanctuary.

Malankara Reservoir
Located in Idukki District at a distance of 66 kms from Kochi and 6 kms from Thodupuzha, Lake Malankara and dam is well connected by roads and is served by frequent bus service. The reservoir is ideal for boating and fishing.
